Italy is always surprising! For a few days now I’ve been “treating” myself with small dosages of  Northern Italy. It’ been refreshing, relaxing, rejuvenating… Been wandering through the beautiful, paved, small streets of Verona in the footsteps of many lovers  across the ages, catching a sip of romance every other corner. Been feelin’ small (not insignificant :) ) in front of the Domo in Milano but falling deeply in love for the gardens of Castle Sforzesco. Although surrounded by thousands of people buzzing like bees everywhere, I laid down in the green grass and gazed at the sky for minutes that felt like hours while close to me a guy with a guitar litteraly wraped me in a neverending state of dreaming. It was the sound of silence. As I am writing these lines I am lucky to be sitting on a terrace in Pinerolo, breathing freedom and staring at the tree soldiers, standing tall, brave and firm whatching over the mountains. Tomorrow I’ll be taking a sip of Torino…there’s still a lot to come and I am pretty damn lucky that it’s coming my way. Enjoy the sound of silence! (Close your eyes, do not listen to the lyrics, only the melody and focus on the voice… imagine you lay down in the grass with the sun gently touching your face…now tell me you don’t want to hang on to this forever)
